Vanguards Power (VP) is a leader in design, development and manufacturing of automatic voltage regulators and stabilisers. VP manufactures a range of single and 3 Phase Power Optimisation Systems called: PropSava and LiteSava. These products are referred to as 'Voltage or Power Optimisation' Systems and automatically Reduce and/or Increase voltage for entire sites and buildings. Voltage regulators were originally designed to protect electrical equipment from the damaging effect of unstable and irregular mains power supply.
With global commitment to reduce CO2 emissions and stop the dangerous effects of global warming, there has been greater emphasis on reduction of energy consumption.
Electric power generation emits a quarter of the World’s total CO2 emissions (Source - Center for Global Development (2007, November 15) Carbon Dioxide Emissions From Power Plants Rated Worldwide).
One cost-effective means of reducing electrical energy consumption and therefore a substantial reduction in the emission of CO2 is eliminating over voltage supply to the consumer (Source – Measure and Measure Your Energy Use, ( August 2010), Government Business Magazine, Hywel Davies, Technical Director of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers).
VP has designed a new form of voltage regulator to perform this task. VP computer controlled automatic voltage regulators and stabilisers (Systems) reduce over-voltage; which reduces the consumer’s use of electrical energy and reduce the consumer’s power costs. This reduction in power used by the consumer reduces the need for the power generator to produce more electrical power and thereby reduces CO2 emissions.
VP Systems are increasingly used in Europe, Australia Asia and Africa as advanced energy saving Systems.
History:
VP was founded in 2005 and has spent many years research and developing cost-effective solutions for the rapid reduction in global CO2 emissions. VP indentified that significant CO2 reductions could be achieved by reducing consumer’s mains voltage. To achieve this, a new breed and type of voltage
regulators would have to be designed.
VP assembled a team of experienced and dedicated Engineers in 2005 to develop an advanced solid-state voltage regulator. The first successful trials were completed in January 2009. Then cutting-edge computer control and safety systems were added in February 2009. The product was named the PropSava. PropSava trials and subsequent case studies showed that up to 22% of energy saving and a reduction of 20% of CO2 can be achieved by consumers. The PropSava is available in single and 3 Phase voltage types with fixed or variable output voltage Systems.
Following the success of the PropSava, VP examined other areas of power usage where VP technology and Systems could be of benefit. VP found that a substantial part of electrical power is used on lighting. Lighting usually represents a minimum of 20% of all electricity use. Unlike most other types of electrical equipment, lighting can run at much lower voltages. In 2010, VP's team designed a specialised lighting power voltage reduction System called the LiteSava.
The LiteSava is available in single and 3 Phase voltage types and has 2 levels of voltage reduction and a timer. The consumer can set any output voltage they wish between 200V and 230V. In trials and case studies of the LiteSava savings in power and cost of up to 42% has been realised by consumers.

We supply our Advanced Energy Saving Systems through our trained and appointed Channel Partners worldwide. Where no Channel Partner exists in a region or country we will only supply single phase products to bonafide companies with secure email address system. We do this to maintain the highest safety standards and customer care possible. We do not sell any 3 Phase Products to any party other than our trained Channel Partners.

All manufacturing facilities hold current ISO 9001/9002 certification as a minimum plus other relevant quality certification awarded by independent and regulated authorities.

VP Products are independently certified to European CE and International IEC.Our products components, manufacturing, assembly systems and routines are constantly monitored and tested to ensure that they do not use any of the chemicals specified by the EEC Regulation known as REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)
