A macerator is a waste disposal unit combined with a pump, which is able to reduce solid waste to liquid and to pump the waste against gravity. The pumping system is designed for the disposal of normal organic waste product, water or paper along a small bore pipe to eventually join the main sewage pipe for the building.

Ordinarily a toilet is positioned next to the main sewage pipe for the building to ease the removal of waste matter directly from the property. To fit another toilet or bathroom in another part of the property requires the installation of an additional sewage pipe connection to the main sewer line. A sewage pipe diameter is usually large and connection to the main sewer will involve expensive and unsightly renovations.

In these circumstances the AE macerator is the answer. The AE Macerator can be fitted to provide a toilet, a shower and hand basin virtually anywhere in a property – above or below the level of the main sewer pipe.

AE Macerators incorporate the latest development in high efficiency macerator impellers and electric motor; quiet in operation, fully guaranteed, maintenance free and very easy to fit.

Note: You should not flush nappies, wet wipes or sanitary towels since these items can cause blockages.

• AEM50 enables you to install a toilet (or other ﬁxture) whereconventional drainage would not be a viable option. It is economical and simple to install, quiet in operation and if it be necessary can be serviced with ease.

• With a pumping performance of up to 20 feet (7m) in height or 210 feet (70m) in length the

macerator AEM 50 (MAC161) gives you unequalled performance and total ﬂexibility of installation.

• Using standard 1-inch (32mm) solvent weld plastic pipe allows you to install the unit almost anywhere.

• AEM75 (MAC162) allows the installation of a toilet and ONE other ﬁxture such as a basin or shower.
