Current Vacancies: Technical Editor and Electrical Engineer & Trainer

Technical Editor:
To assist in the ongoing development of technical documentation for our range Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR).

The vacancy is open to all who are English native speakers. Ability to speak Mandarin would be a distinct advantage. Extensive travel will be required in this position.

Start date: Immediate.

The Responsibilities:
• Up-to-date familiarisation with all our single and 3 phase Power Optimisation Systems.
• Assist in the production of Training Manuals, installation procedures and maintenance.
• Assist in the compilation and editing of brochures and marketing material for end users,Distributors, Engineers and media.

The Individual:
• Great communicator across a wide range of different cultures.
• Outgoing and flexible.
• “Can do” person.
• Self-disciplined and motivated.
• Computer literate MS Word and Excel and any other graphics program such as Adobe etc.
• Substantial experience in media communication in E industry, magazine, journals etc.

Qualifications:
• Degree qualified in an English subject and/or journalism.
• Documented minimum of 10 years experience in similar technical editor position
• Any direct experience editing experience in AVR or transformer technology an advantage.

Electrical Engineer & Trainer:
To assist in the ongoing development of Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR) and train customer engineers in installation and maintenance procedures.

The vacancy is open to all who are English native speakers and are prepared to travel extensively throughout the world. Ability to speak Mandarin would be a distinct advantage.

• Assemble Prototypes.
• Performance Testing of systems and prototypes.

Mechanical Engineer (Intern):
Duties:
To assist and take part in the following:
• Prepare design documents according to the relevant instructions, standards and specifications.
• Review and verify all documents for correct design.
• Understand the design document preparation process is complied and adhered to.
• Design and check documents for completeness and correctness prior to submission for final approval.
• Improving and optimizing existing design and development.

Accountancy (Intern):
Duties:
To assist and take part in the following:
• General bookkeeping in accordance with China Tax Authority requirements.
• Weekly & monthly sales invoicing.
• Cashier for expense documents audit.
• Voucher filing, binding.
• Relevant financial records and documents management.

Sales Administration (Intern):
Duties:
To assist and take part in the following:
• General administrative duties including the use office equipment such as telephone, printer, copier and fax.
• Marketing research and collating information on company products and customer information.
• Responding to new business leads from telemarketing and e-marketing .
• Completing customer quotations.
• Updating content on company and trade websites.
• Recording of customer and prospective customer information and reports.

System Control Design Engineer (Intern):
Duties:
To assist and take part in the following:
• Detailed functional design specifications & documentation.
• System architecture design, network connections and interfaces RS232 and Ethernet.
• Carrying out testing of system design.
• Production associated documentation and drawings for manufacture.
• Development of quality control testing procedures and documentation.
• Production of BOM Lists for procurement.
